About Beatrice

Beatrice was found by the member of the public in a very critical state. Very tired, thin, dehydrated, coat matted and hard to the touch, most of her teeth missing, vision impaired and absolutely starving. Her weight was only 1.7kg.
Our vets managed to take some of the matted fur off. She had to stay at the Vets on a drip for a few days before we could do some blood tests. Tests showed her kidneys are fine. She is not diabetic and she has no thyroid issue. Overall, all the tests were normal. She is vision and hearing impaired.

Either someone didn’t look after her well or the poor pet was straying for so long she ended up in this state. She is staying with one of our volunteers and getting 5 star care. She already managed to gain half a kilo in 10 days, which is amazing. She is a very lovely old lady, very gentle, and loves to be petted.

Beatrice is a long term project as her recovery time is unknown. Also the fact that she is 10+ years old cat makes it harder for her to be rehomed.
